About One Wants to be a Letter
One Wants to be a Letter is a story about being different. Our lead character, One, is a number whose friends are all letters, and he felt different and wanted to be just like his friends.
Have you ever felt different?
Throughout the story, One keeps trying to be a letter, when in the end, he finds out that being a Number One was what he was meant to be. When you are true to who you are, you will find your happiness.
A portion of the proceeds from the book sales will go to the 4 Jake’s Sake Charitable Foundation, which is our foundation that helps families with children with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy get help.
Jake has launched a new public service campaign, #DontCallMeBuddy! All to often, people would talk normally to Jake’s parents and then talk to Jake as if he was a small child even though he was a teenager. This behavior is patronizing and Jake want it to stop. Visit our page to learn more.
Now you can have Jake Marrazzo come to your school to read his One Wants to be a Letter Children’s Book to your students. This is free and fun educational opportunity! Click here to see Jake in action reading in the classroom or to click here inquire about Jake’s availability.
